You can delete your MoonyKids account and everything in it at any time. You do not need the app installed, and you do not need to be able to sign in.
Two ways to do it
1 · In the app
Open Profile → Parent zone → Delete account. This is the quickest way, and it takes effect immediately.
2 · By email
If you cannot sign in, or would rather write to us, email [email protected] from the address on your MoonyKids account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
Write from the account address so we know the request is really from you. If you cannot, tell us and we will find another way to check before we delete anything — we will not delete an account on the say-so of someone who cannot show it is theirs.
What gets deleted
Everything we hold about you and the stories you made:
- ✓Your account — email address, password, name and display name
- ✓Every story you created, including the character names you typed and your world and character selections
- ✓All narration audio — the actual audio files, not just the record of them
- ✓Your sign-in sessions
MoonyKids is free and we hold no payment information, so there is nothing of that kind to delete.
What we keep, and why
We may keep a minimal record that a deletion request was made and completed, and limited information where we are required to for security, fraud prevention, or to meet a legal obligation. Nothing in that record is used for any other purpose.
Messages you have sent our support team, and our replies, stay in our support records.
How long it takes
Deletion is immediate. Once you confirm, your account, your stories and your narration audio are removed straight away. There is no queue and no waiting period.
We send a confirmation email as the deletion completes.
Deleting a single story
You do not have to close your account to get rid of one story. Open it in your library and choose Delete story. That story and all of its scenes are permanently removed, the rest of your account is left untouched, and — like closing your account — it cannot be undone. If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] and we will delete it for you.
